About Me

Originally from Colorado, I’ve been a Las Vegas Resident since 1999. It’s a great place for Elvis Sightings and People watching!
I received a Commercial Art degree from the Rocky Mountain School of Art in 1982, and a B.A. in Art Education from MSU in 1986. I’ve lived in various countries and states since then, creating and teaching art along the way. Currently I commission art work, murals and faux finishes for area residents and designers, and I launched an inspirational greeting card line in 2009. My best day is one where I can enhance someone’s life by making the space they live in more appealing and visually stimulating.
Inspirational or motivational quotes are often a springboard for painting ideas for me and the finished piece becomes a reminder to think positive! I’m also inspired by found objects. I have a very exciting collection of bones, rocks, metal bits, leaves, jewelry, paper and cool stuff that I like to surround myself with and eventually use in my art. Another great source of inspiration comes from my collection of eclectic friends, family and acquaintances whom I would be lost without!
My mission is to motivate and inspire myself and others to meet and embrace our creative potential through synergistic communication and self expression.
